Loud; You know those obnoxious guys in the hallway that are always talking like they’re four feet away from each other? That’s Adam. He’s one of those people who can be “heard before seen”.
Trust-Worthy; Even though he’s loud, he‘s pretty trust worthy. He’s the person that his friends turn to when they actually need a serious conversation and some good advice.
Welcoming; One of the few habits he picked up from his mother is being a welcoming person. He likes walking up to strangers and introducing himself, though people usually hate him when they first meet him.
Protective; An attribute many people notice about Adam is his protectiveness. He’s one of most protective people you will ever meet, especially when it comes to his close friends and his family.
Ambitious; Since he was a young kid, Adam has been very ambitious. He knows what he wants, and he knows what he needs to do to get there, and he won’t stop until he gets there.
Smart; Grades are on the top of Adam’s list. He really doesn’t struggle with math, but he has a problem with science. Even with that, he tries even harder to keep his grades high, and usually succeeds.
Commitment; When Adam signs up to do something, he does it. He’s very loyal to his commitments, and usually sticks to everything he commits too. There are those rare times when he does have to give up a commitment, but immediately tries to make it up to the person he let down.
Normal; Even though he’s got a lot of good qualities about him, there are always some that bring him down. He’s made his fair share of mistakes as well as his achievements. One thing he a lot of people seem to forget, is that he really is a normal guy.

They always say the history about a person, can tell you a lot about them. Adam never believed that was true. Though, others might disagree. They also say when you are a young child you pick up on your parent’s habits easily because you’re so impressionable at that age. That was something he could completely agree with.
He was born twenty years ago to his parents James and Elizabeth. They two had met in high school. James was captain of the football team, and Elizabeth was Student Council president. It was one of those picture perfect relationships. The ones you only see in movies. They had it though, at least for a while. They married young. Too young. But they had a reason too. Elizabeth had gotten pregnant a few months before her twenty first birthday, and in order for their parents not to look down upon them, the two figured they would get married quickly, then announce the pregnancy. It worked.
Their marriage didn’t though. Even throughout Elizabeth’s pregnancy, anyone could tell the two were drifting apart. By the time Adam was born, the two were on the verge of a divorce, but unfortunately they stuck together for Adam’s sake. Within the first three years of his life, the two parents were rarely home at the same time. Elizabeth was usually home during the day, and then James at night. By the time Adam was six, the two never spoke.
His mother was always on Adam’s case. From a young age, she had tried to make him “the perfect little boy”. But he wanted none of it, and eventually he started rebelling against her. His father on the other hand, was more laid back. He let Adam do pretty much whatever he wanted. Though, one thing he constantly pushed was sports. By the time Adam was eight, he was playing football, baseball and basketball for his local teams. Every night when James returned from work, the two would go out and practice, allowing them to bond.
By the time Adam was eleven he found his calling. His mother had dragged him to one of her book clubs down at the local college, and he had thankfully escaped. He ended up walking into a building where open auditions were being held and auditioned for the hell of it. He was actually casted. It was a small role, but the role that turned him onto acting. Ever since, he has been on the stage.
Why Emerson?
His major reason for going to Emerson would have to be the musical theatre program. He was accepted into Westminster, but he knew they were only well known for their vocal department. Sure singing means a lot to him, but for Adam, tying it all together with the acting is what makes him want to get up and perform every day.
ten minutes into the dance, she was sure he wasn’t going to come. how could he do this? leave her alone yet again? she didn’t even care about the awkwardness that would settle between them. she just wanted to talk to him. zach never did this to her, and the fact that he was starting to now made her want to cry. then again she had done too much of that before passing out last night, there probably weren’t enough tears to shed again. she crossed her arms around her tiny body. she didn’t care that she was slumping or whatever. she really didn’t care what people were thinking of her at the moment.
she took a good look at the dance floor. everyone was smiling and laughing. she envied them slightly. if she hadn’t gone and gotten drunk the night before, she wouldn’t have confronted zach about not saying hello to her, and the whole argument probably never would have happened. as much as she did want to forget the whole fight happened, she didn’t. she had tried to get the memory of zach kissing her out of her head all day. but she couldn’t. she wasn’t sure why. actually, she did know why. her stomach had flipped when he kissed her. something she hadn’t felt in a long time. a feeling that she had liked.
fifteen minutes. he still wasn’t there. she thought about leaving. she really did. but she was nominated for homecoming queen. she just couldn’t leave with the chance that she might win the crown. but zach was also nominated, and if he won along with her, and left her up there, she’d never forgive him, no matter how much he apologized. he knew how much she hated being left alone, and if he did it three times in a matter of twenty four hours, she’d never let him live it down.
a few people had come over to her, and she briefly started talking to them. of course they had asked who she was there with, but she had skipped over that question by bringing up the homecoming nominations. she no longer knew how long she had been there, but the bouncing music and the bright lights were really starting to bother her. she looked between two girls who were chattering about something pointless, but she didn’t care. she was locked in the eyes of zach. she had finally found him among the crowded room.
the girls around her, drifted away, probably because she was ignoring them. she didn’t care though. zach made his way over to her, and she felt like she was in one of those geico commercials. why was she thinking about that? “hey” he said. she took a moment to take him in. the fact that he was standing there infront of her was a complete surprise. she really didn’t think that he was going to show. he wore a suit, but made it look casual. did he always look so cute? he must have, considering the amount of hearts he had broken. “hi” she said quietly. yup. it was awkward. she thought about saying something, but he had spoke first. “ i’m sorry about last night. i shouldn't have acted the way i did. it was in the heat of the moment, and i didn't mean what I said. we can forget all about it and pretend it never happened. in fact, i think that would be the best thing for us to do ”.
she was pretty sure her mouth was hanging slightly open. he had just told her to forget what she was unable to forget all day. he had just told her that he didn’t mean anything that he said last night. he took back that he loved her. she thought that having zach in front of her would make the feeling of wanting to cry go away, but it was just getting worse. she bit her pink stained lip. “well, if that’s what you want then fine” she said. she looked away from him and down to her strappy shoes. she was sure she could join the club ‘zachary dean reynolds broke my heart’ now.
