MADISON ASTRID PARKER
Name: madison astrid parker. Nicknames: maddy (only select few are allowed to use it). Age: nineteen. Date of Birth: october 10, 1990. Grade: college - sophomore. Program: arts. Orientation: straight. Nationality: Puerto Rican - mother's side/ canadian - father's side. Home Town: Orlando, Florida. Play by: victoria justice.
--- SPONTANOUS The first thing you will learn about Madison is that she does what she wants, when she wants. If she feels like taking a walk at four in the morning, she will do it. If she feels like eating fried chicken for breakfast, she will do it. She has an incredibly free spirit and lives her life moment to moment. After all, everyone dies in the end, right? Might as well make the most of it. This trait sometimes gets her into trouble but she always finds some way to avoid getting pregnant or dead. As long as she is not one of those two, she is fine. She finds a lot that because of this, she isn't really able to hold down long-term relationships with guys. Don't get me wrong, she has never full on cheated on a guy before but most men see her as the wild, sexy girl that they think they can catch. They give up when they realize they can't. --- HARD - WORKING This might seem like a contradiction from the last personality trait that I mentioned but nonetheless, it is true. When Madison's heart and mind is set on doing something, you can bet she will get it done. She is extremely driven when it comes to her career which comes from working from such a young age. Of course, if she wasn't actually interested in her job, she could care less, however since acting is something that she is passionate about, it has become her main goal in life. Sometimes her spontaneity gets in the way of her work ethic and she hates herself for it. However, she has gone to jobs with such horrible hang-overs before, it is beginning to not phase her at all.
--- HOPELESS ROMANTIC For as much of a realist that Madison is about life, she can't help but think one day the man of her dreams will come and take her away forever. She loves all of the old, romantic, black and white movies and idolizes classic Hollywood men such as Carey Grant, Humphrey Bogart, and Gene Kelly. Maybe this is why her relationships never really work out. Her expectations are set extremely high when it comes to men and when her love life doesn't feel like a movie, she tends to get distant and move on, once again looking for her prince charming. It's not only in the love department that she is a hopeless romantic, it is also her career that she tends to dream for the stars. She has high hopes of one day make it big in Hollywood, going to A-list parties and dodging paparazzi. Although that dream might actually come true.
LIKES: - stealing things. - acoustic music. - musicals. - Broadway. - Hollywood. - partying. - alcohol. - drugs. - black & white movies. - attractive men.
DISLIKES: - waking up early. - country music. - people trying to psycho-analyse her. - feeling fat. - her actions being questioned. - being judged. - knowing that she could have done better. - wasting her time. - condescending people. - politics.
Madison Astrid was born on a balmy, October morning in Orlando, FL. It was her parents', Angelina and Mark Parkers', fourth child and with the three older siblings being boys, Madison was truly a gift. They had wanted a baby girl since they had got married and they had finally received one. She was an bright-eyed, curious baby, almost never crying but always wiggling, trying to explore new things. Her young years were spent with her three older brothers looking after her as she kept finding new ways to get in trouble around the house. Her father was co-founder of a fairly successful record label in the city, which gave Madison and her siblings a big house and lots of opportunities growing up. Ever since she had been born, people had been saying how beautiful of a child she was and it wasn't long before her mother caught on. At the raw age of five, Angelina Parker started booking small modeling jobs for her young daughter. Madison took to the business like a fish to water and it wasn't before long that a little bit of a diva attitude was starting to appear. Even at a young age, Madison knew that she wanted to be in the public eye.
Madison went to a wealthy, public school in a good neighborhood and took well to being with other children. It was a common occurrence for the little Madison to come home and announce that she had met yet another friend. Her teachers always commented that Madison, although very sweet and social, was too much a chatty kathy in class and disruption their lessons often. In life outside of school, Madison had branched out her budding career when she decided that she wanted to try acting. She began to get cast in local commercials and also stage productions that were produced around the community. At home, she was always singing, dancing or working on her acting ability. She was one of those rare kids that knew what she wanted to do with her life at a very young age and wasn't afraid to go after it. Her mother gave birth to two more siblings, one boy and one girl, but always had the time to concentrate on continuing Madison's career.
Once Madison hit high school, she was an unstoppable force. She was one of the most popular kids at school, not because she played the mind games that most girls played but because she was actually nice to everyone that she met. The fact that she was growing to be a beautiful young woman didn't hurt any either. Madison was in all of the school plays during her four years, as well as continuing her acting career outside of school. She never had the greatest grades, something that her mother and her were always fighting about. Madison just didn't see the point of school. In fact, she was only going to college because her mother was going to cut her off financially if she didn't. That was one thing Madison was never good at, keeping track of her money. Being spontaneous made her bank account very low at all times and even though she still had money from acting jobs, it always seem to go faster than she had planned. It wasn't enough of a problem, however, that it was the cause of a odd habit that Madison had picked up during high school; stealing. At first it was tiny things, packs of gum or a soda. There was nothing that happened in her personal life that triggered it, it was just something that got her blood pumping, and she loved it. She got so good at it that she could walk out of a high-end store with three dresses stuffed in her purse.
Now Madison is in her second year and just recently transfered to Emerson College from Florida State. Her parents were not happy about the transfer but Madison refused to accept anything else. She needed to get out of Florida and Emerson had a wonderful drama program. Madison has only been at the college for about two weeks, but she already seems to be making a splash.
I hope this is better:
6:50am. I would have been much happier if I had been still asleep in my warm bed but the bright, summer morning sunlight that was shining through my car window was gradually waking me up. I turned left of the busy highway and into the driveway I knew too well. A green, majestic gate was in front of me, blocking me from the rest of the property. On the left of me, sitting on the green, luscious, well-tended lawn was a stone sign reading “Bay Harbor Equestrian Club.” I had passed by that sign for so many years, always wishing to be a part of the activities behind the gate. This, however, hadn't really been what I had in mind. I rolled down the window of my black Ford Focus and without even thinking, punched a four-digit code into a small box beside the gate. The metal bars swung open mechanically and I continued my drive up the winding pavement. Keeping right, I arrived at the back of the main stables where the employees parked. As I pulled in, I noticed that I was the first one to arrive for the day. I smiled, knowing for at least for five minutes, I could start my work in peace, without having the other employees breathing down my neck.
I lifted myself out of my car and onto my feet, still sore from the long day of work before. I pulled both sides of the bulky, barn door to their perspective side, using all of the strength I could muster that early in the morning. The walk into the barn and up through the row of stalls seemed to take forever. Light oak lined the walls and ceilings, an interesting contrast from the cement floors. Stalls were lined up to the right of me, most of them occupied with horses, all waking up to the sound of my footsteps. Finally, I got to the very other end of the aisle, pushing my way through a door that said, “Employees Only.” It looked like a hurricane had hit the room. Tools, clothes and miscellaneous things were strewn about the room with no reason or organization to it. I always tried to avoid this room at all costs. I quickly pulled my time-clock card from off the wall and fed it through the compact machine below. It took longer than usual to process the card but I couldn't blame it, I was running a little slow today as well.
I walked back into the aisle and closed the door behind me. There was no way I was going to let the boarders see that room. I continued straight across the aisle and into the main foyer of the barn, past an area where people groomed and readied their horses. Stopping only for a second, I looked up to my left at the whiteboard that is hung on the wall. It was where we kept the schedule for the day and in just one glance, I knew have should have called in sick. There wasn't a moment free on that schedule. I took a deep breath and made my way to the left into the office section of the main lobby. It was really just a island counter, sectioning off a piece of corner, however back in the little nook was the cash register, fridge, phone, and sink. I put my brown-bag lunch in the mini-fridge and looked at the bar stools on the outside of the counter, longingly. What I wouldn't give to sit down for even five minutes.
Instead, I dragged myself up the oak stairs across from the office and into the clubhouse. This was the room that reminded you that this stable was part of a multi-million dollar resort. The wood floor shined, being the same color as the oak walls. To the right of the door was one lonely pool-table. The room had a mixture of wicker and leather furniture, all of them grouped fashionably into sets around the room. There was a bar to the left with copper counters, a bar that I wished daily was stocked. I walked through to the door on the opposite side, now looking down on the indoor riding arena, still resting in darkness. I shuffled on the balcony over to the left side of the arena, staring at the copious amounts of hay lined against the wall. On my way, I passed an oak door to my left, staring at it in contempt. It was a small apartment that one of the employees lived it, the one employee that I just couldn't stand. I hoped to God that she wasn't working that day.

- Your image was removed because it was too large, please use the appropriate size - Full name needs to go under ‘name’ - It’s only September, if she was born in 1991, she’d still be eighteen, and too young for a sophomore. - If it’s a third child, it only has two siblings, not three. - Your personality needs more negative aspects, please add another trait or expand on the ones there. - Watch how ‘prefect’ she comes across. For example, it would be nice if people DID mind about her low grades. - Your sample actually needs to be a roleplay sample, so we can know what to expect from you on a regular basis.
Other than those things, it’s a decent application. Just need to fix those few things up.
