Why the hell did I agree to come here? Giovana asked herself in thought as she sat at the bar, waiting for her friend Cody. The music was so loud and horrible. She almost wanted to rip out her ear drums. Maybe the real reason she came was because Cody needed people there for him. She could tell by the way he looked at people, the way he spoke. She was a very observant person. He was a hurting guy deep down. Giovana was just caring and wouldn't let a chance to hang out with him slip out of her hands. Everyone needed some one in their lives they could just talk to and be themselves around with. Giovana was socially awkward, but she wasn't hopeless. She had Dane and Delilah. So it was only fair for her to be that person in other people's lives as well. Even if she would be taken out of her natural and safe environment.
Shes heard about Voyeuar, but never really went to the club. She was the last person you'd see at a club or at a party. Yet she was here, alone. She tapped her fingers on the bar counter, looking around. Where the hell is he? she thought. Giovana was pretty young compared to Cody. She was a senior in high school, and although Cody was a college freshmen, he was twenty two years old. Giovana couldn't really complain about that, she had gone out with Trevor, and he was older than her. However, she wasn't interested in Cody like that. He was just a friend. She was oblivious of how much of a bad influence Cody was. She was at a club for crying out loud. However, she was eighteen so it's not like she was way too young to be here.
Giovana thought of herself as 'innocent'. She didn't sleep around, being that she was still a virgin. She's only kissed guys. She didn't do drugs, and she's never had a sip of alcohol. Perhaps the bartender found that too hard to believe, being that he kept smiling at the young girl. He even walked up to her and offered her one 'on the house'. Yeah right, she wasn't going to drink that. Who knows what he slipped in there. Okay yes, Giovana was very protective and cautious. She had only the 'Harpers' to learn about all the areas of safety. "No, thanks." she said simply, with a shake of her head. She looked around and finally! She saw Cody. She got up quickly and walked straight up to him, speaking loud to get her voice heard over the loud music. "Where have you been? It feels like I've been waiting forever." she told him embracing him with a fast and quick hug. "I dont like it here, this place is full of pervs." she told him.

Giovana nodded at his statement, "Yeah, I told you i'd come. However, I was tempted to leave a second ago. Perfect timing, Cody." she told him. When cody slipped his arm around Gio's waist she raised a brow, then glanced over at the bartender. Okay, now she knew what he was doing. Cody wasn't the 'touchy feely' type. She should of thought twice before greeting him with a hug, she didn't want to make him uncomfortable, but good thing she didn't. She listened to what Cody had to say next. Surprise? she thought. She tried to guess what it was but had absolutely no success. She followed Cody to wherever he was leading her, keeping her eyes on the ground. It felt to uncomfortable and awkward to look at the bunch of people that were staring at her.
Giovana knew she was a pretty girl, but she didn't like what came with it. Maybe she shouldn't have worn this black dress? Next time she ever went to a place like this, she'd have to remind herself to come in sweats. However, it wasn't just that. Giovana's look could pass for a lot of different ages. She could pass for her early twenties with a fresh and young face. She could pass for a fourteen year old sometimes, and sometimes people were quick to realize she really was eighteen. She liked being eighteen. She didn't feel too old, or too young or anything like that. She had friends in their only twenties, and even a few friends that were younger than her. It all differed positively.
"No, it's okay. Don't worry about it." Giovana responded. She put on the VIP thing Cody had gave her, She glanced at it for a second. "What? VIP?" she asked looking at Cody. Any normal girl would be all 'Yay V.I.P' or even say ' Oh cool' but not Gio. She'd be taken out of her comfort zone way to much now. "Isn't that like, where people do drugs?" she asked, sounding like an oblivious teenager, which was exactly what she was. Most of the things she heard about V.I.P rooms were bad. Rumor had it that people had sex, did drugs, and got drunk beyond imagination. She had even come up with a funny nickname for it when she was younger, 'the sin room'. What the hell would it look like, me being in this place? she thought. Then again, most likely no one she knew would be here. No one would believe her if she said she had gone. Giovana had been taking a lot of risks lately, and they were all sort of fun. Her life usually was so boring. However, if you wanted a story, go out and create one yourself, right? "Nevermind." she said, coming up with a conclusion as she followed him.

She looked at him when he explained what VIP meant. He knew what the acronym stood for. She had just heard some things about the VIP places in general. Some things Cody was quick to deny. "Psh, I know what it stands for Cody." she laughed a little. She had to say something, she didn't want to sound like a complete ditz. "Okay, well that sounds better than out where everyone's at." she said, although she didn't consider herself a very important person. Gio sort of stayed under the radar. She was the other students shadow. She wasn't the 'star' yet, she planned on being the star one day. She was just like any other person. However, she did feel a little special she was gettign to go to this VIP room.
"Yeah, I was overwhelmed. Thanks." she said. "I think it just adds on to the fact the 'club' scenes aren't for everyone." she said. Shed rather be listening to music, staring at her ceiling all day then be hit on by some old perverted bartender. Once they were inside, she was quick to notice it was only the two of them. Thankfully. It was nice inside too. "This is cool." she said, looking around and taking in her observations. She was an observant type of girl. It looked nicer than she would have thought it would. It almost made her feel somewhat comfortable. When he tossed his VIP badge on the table, she mimicked him with hers, listening to what he said.
"Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with that. But why just us?" she asked him. She laughed when he mentioned she could request a song. She didn't know to much of the 'cool' songs these days. "Um, I don't thin anyone would want me to request a song." she laughed. "I'm horrible with the 'common taste' in music." she said. "That's a smart way to make money, only sucks for them, because i've never had a sip of alcohol my whole entire life." she told him, truthfully. She didn't understand why people got drunk all the time. She didn't think there was a good excuse for it. She grew up around drugs, and alcohol. She wasn't going to be another statistic. She was better than that.
She walked up besides Cody, looking down at the people on the dance floor. Gross. She's been dragged to a few parties so she was used to seeing the way people danced. Still, it was still a gross sight to her. They all needed their own private rooms. Then again, what was 'gross' to Giovana might have been considered 'playing it safe' to other people. They could be dancing a lot worse than they were right about now. Giovana was also talented in the art of dancing. Jazz, Swing, Hip-Hop, and Ballet. She knew it all. Grinding against some one wasn't genuine dancing, it was teasing."So-" she said trying to break the silence. Damn, Cody was even more awkward than her. "You said this place was for very important persons, or whatever." she started. "So how did you manage to score it?" she asked.

She nodded, " I mean, seriously? Is that dancing? It looks more like dry sex if you ask me. its really ridiculous." she told Cody, looking out through the glass then turning away from it. She started walking around a bit. Trying to get used to this place. She never really got dragged to clubs too much. When she did, they always ended up on the dance floor, and then some pervert would touch her inappropriately. She'd have to smack him right across the face and run off crying somewhere due to her humiliation. Wow, now she remembered why she promised herself she'd never return to one of these things ever again. Thing was, she was safe. She was with Cody and they were alone up here.
If she didn't know Cody well enough there was no way she would have taken such a big risk in joining him up here. But she knew him good enough. "Yeah, you and I both, buddy. but still, I know not just anyone can score a place like this.." she said continuing on as he tried to ease his way out of her questioning. "Yeah I know, ...why cant I be hit on by regular people?" she sighed, "But thanks, for putting in the effort to make me feel comfortable." she told him. Cody was so odd, so she had to loosen up and talk a bit ore around him. She felt comfortable around him more than most people. Maybe because they understood each other in that 'odd' perspective. "So tell me how you scored this place so if I ever decide to feel famous one day I can?" she suggested again, obviously not happy with his last response.
Giovana decided to add on to the reasons he wouldn't request a song. "The music I listen to isn't exactly 'club' music? It would probably bore the people in here to death, then I'd be responsible for murder." she joked, shrugging a little. She'd let that one pass. Besides, she didn't want to talk to some guy she didn't know - even if she was simply asking him to change the song. When Cody said now was the time to try it, she looked at him. I'm not even twenty one, I don't even know how I act when I'm drunk. she told herself. Was she supposed to agree? Why did she feel the need to? try, who knows? she shrugged. She brought up the question earlier, but it seemed like they were always talking about something else rather than"Okay." she simply said. Maybe since Cody was so cool and scoring VIP rooms, she wanted to seem cool too. He was probably expecting a 'no' from her and she was tired of being..predictable? "No, I mean sure. One sip wont hurt." she told him.
"Are you ever going to answer my question?" she asked him. "Umm - and I don't care you pick." she said. " Whatever you think I should try." she said. How did he score the place? She was going to find out.
(ooc ha yes he is. and sure!)
