Welcome to Fast Play. Before you begin posting you need to read over the concept and rules of this board. By doing such you are telling us that you respect these rules and will not abuse the Fast Play board, if you post in the Fast Play board the admin will automatically assume you’ve read these rules and will hold you responsible for keeping to them.
First, I would like to explain to you what Fast Play is. Have you ever had a thread that was overly wordy for the situation? A time when your character and the other characters in the thread needed a whole lot more dialogue and a whole lot less thought and action? By cutting away the surrounding scene you’ve found yourself in what I like to call a one-scene roleplay. The scene around you never changes. You’re always in the same room, it’s always the same day, and the thread that is unfolding requires no getting-to-the-place or going-from-somewhere-else. You just find yourself there.
Fast Play is a board where you can have these types of threads, where the site word count is unrecognized, and unlike the IC Chatbox (which is not for one-liner roleplaying, because it is a chatroom), major things can happen if you want them to.
The following are the rules of the Fast Play board:
1. While the word count is unrecognized in this board, if we find that you are posting single word or single line replies we will lock your thread and you won’t be allowed to continue. Small paragraphs, please, as we don’t want to abuse this board and have the staff close it down.
2. If we find more people posting in Fast Play than there are real threads, we will close it down.
3. If your character never posts outside of the Fast Play boards, you will be warned and disallowed from posting with any of your characters in this board and possibly will be suspended from creating new characters for awhile.
4. Fast Play is not AU. If happens here, it happened for real. You must recognized prior and future events if necessary. Your character cannot have sudden amnesia and forget everything that’s ever happened to them.
5. Fast Play is not for sex! I will not tolerate this being abused for porn. It’s against TOS anyway, and I’m not going to let you get dirty in Fast Play just to get it over with quickly. This is a fade-to-black always board.
The administration team reserve the right to add to or change these rules if need be.
